Applications are closing soon for Toowoomba Regional Council’s (TRC) next round of Youth grants.
TRC Environment and Community Services Committee chair Cr James O’Shea said grants of up to $2,500 were available.
“The Youth grant program aims to increase young people’s engagement with their communities, targeting those in the 12-25 age bracket,” Cr O’Shea said.
“Council recognises the importance of supporting our youth, which is why we’ve introduced these funds.
“We already have a community grant program, but this one is specifically designed to support youth-led and youth-driven projects, whether they be in the arts, culture, sports or opportunities to be active citizens.
