Appointment to Payments System Board

The Morrison Government has reappointed Professor Deborah Ralston as a part‑time member to the Payments System Board (PSB) for a five‑year period.

The PSB has responsibility for determining the Reserve Bank of Australia’s payments system policy.

Professor Ralston has been a member of the PSB since 2016 and has made a valuable contribution to the Board’s decision-making during that period. She is a Professional Fellow at Monash University and was recently appointed as a Member of the Future Fund Board of Guardians (2021).

Professor Ralston recently served on the Panel of the Government’s Retirement Income Review and has served as Chair of the SMSF Association and Chair of ASIC’s Digital Finance Advisory Committee.

The reappointment of Professor Ralston maintains the high level of skills and experience on the PSB Board.
