APRA Consultation on Centralised Publication for ADIs Released

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released a consultation on the frequency of its new centralised statistical publication for locally incorporated authorised deposit-taking institutions (ADIs).

The letter published today follows the consultation on prudential disclosure requirements that closed on 9 December 2022, and the letter on data confidentiality released in September 2021, which announced APRA’s intention to produce a centralised publication for ADIs.

The new publication aims to improve the transparency of the ADI industry by providing market participants access to key data points in a way that is easier to compare and analyse than standalone individual disclosures.

Written submissions on the publication frequency for some of the metrics included in this publication are due by 31 January 2023.

The letter to industry and the mock-up version of the publication, are available on the APRA website at: Update to authorised deposit-taking institution centralised publication.
