Orange Aquatic Centre is closed for most of this weekend as 250 swimmers and their families descend on the city.
The centre is hosting the Orange Aquatic Swimming Club Annual Qualifying Meet on May 15 and 16, 2021.
The pool will be open to the general public from 5.30am to 11.45am on Saturday, only. It will be closed all day Sunday.
Learn 2 Swim classes and squad training will all go ahead as scheduled.
The centre is expecting about 250 swimmers from across regional NSW, each bringing a parent with them as well as coaches and support staff. This means the pool is likely to hit its capacity under COVID-19 public health orders.
Orange City Council thanks the community for its support of the Aquatic Centre and the support for the region’s young people as they compete and develop their swimming skills.
