We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and interested individuals to be considered for appointment to our Community Grants Assessment Panel.

We offer a range of grants for our community to help turn ideas into reality. Our grants support projects, programs, activities, and events that respond to a need and will improve the health, wellbeing and capacity of our community.

Position DetailsRead and review grant applications and make funding recommendations to the City of Greater Geelong Council.
RemunerationThis is a voluntary role.
Usual work locationAt home, on-line and at City of Greater Geelong, Wurriki Nyal, 137-149 Mercer Street, Geelong VIC 3220.
TenureThree-year appointment commencing September 2023.
AvailabilityGrant assessors are required in September and October.
Time commitmentReading: will vary depending on volume but assessors can expect to read 40 to 80 applications, once per year.

Panel meeting: 2-4 hours once per year.

Conflict of InterestMembers of the Community Assessment Panel cannot apply for a City of Greater Geelong grant.
