Armadale grass fire

About 6.30am, on Wednesday 19 February 2020, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to reports of a grass fire on the verge of Selkirk Road in Armadale.

The fire damaged a small area of grass on the verge as well as boundary fencing. The fire was close to nearby homes, potentially putting lives at risk.

Strike Force Vulcan officers investigating the fire would like to speak to the person pictured who was seen walking along Selkirk Road in Armadale at the time of the fire.

Anyone with information regarding this fire or who saw any suspicious people or vehicles, or has dash-cam vision taken in the vicinity of the fire, is urged asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
