Kalgoorlie Detectives have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery incident which occurred in Somerville yesterday, Thursday 22 February 2024.
It will be alleged, about 7.20pm, a male was in the driveway of his home on Galbraith Street, when a man approached him and threatened him with a knife.
The man then stole the male’s mobile phone, wallet and keys and left the scene.
Following inquiries, detectives attended a home on in Somerville about 8.35pm, where they arrested a 27-year-old man.
He was charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court today, Friday 23 February 2024.
Detectives recovered almost all of the items stolen during the incident.
