Bayside Council will consider improvements to the school pick up and drop off zones at Arncliffe Public School following a resolution at a Council Meeting on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
Council will investigate short, timed parking arrangements in the surrounding area, including Marinea Street and Avenal Street, Arncliffe, and options for 5-minute parking zones on the school side of Sedgenhoe Street. The most feasible location for a pedestrian crossing on Avenal Street will also be investigated.
A report, to be presented to a future Council Meeting, will look at the possibility of addressing low-cost options this year with higher cost options being included in future year’s budgets.
