A man has been arrested after allegedly seriously assaulting another man at Morphett Vale last night.
About 11.40pm on Sunday, 4 November police and ambulance crews were called to a unit block in Elizabeth Road after reports that a man had suffered serious head injuries after being assaulted by a man known to him.
The victim was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition.
The suspect, a 38-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested at the scene. He is currently undergoing checks at Noarlunga Hospital and is expected to be charged later today.
