A man has been arrested following a serious assault in the CBD earlier this morning.
About 1am on Thursday 1 January, police were called to Bank Street, after reports a man was unconscious following an assault.
The suspect was located a short distance away and arrested without incident. The 36-year-old man from Berri was charged with assault. He was granted police bail to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on 20 February.
The victim, a 29-year-old man from Seaford Rise, was taken to hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
