Northern Territory Police have arrested an adult male in relation to a stolen motor vehicle and pursuit today.
A black hatchback was stolen from a residence in Ludmilla earlier in the day and was later seen driving erratically through Palmerston and Darwin.
A pursuit with the stolen vehicle was terminated due the vehicle’s dangerous manner of driving.
Police continued to follow the vehicle onto Dalwood Crescent where the vehicle crashed into residential fencing.
After a short foot pursuit, the offender was arrested without incident.
The investigation is ongoing and the male is expected to be charged later today.
