Arrests – Unlawful entries – Greater Darwin Region

Northern Territory Police have arrested three people in relation to separate unlawful entries across the Greater Darwin Region overnight.

Just before midnight, police received information about an unlawful entry at a service station in Winnellie, where the offender had gained access by smashing the front glass window.

A 37-year-old male was arrested after police conducted a patrol in the area and located the man.

At around 2:15am, a security company contacted police to report an unlawful entry at a restaurant on the Esplanade. Police attended and arrested a 27-year-old female and 37-year-old male.

Strike Force Trident are continuing to investigate the incident.

All three individuals remain in custody and are expected to be charged with multiple property offences.

Later that morning, police attended a third unlawful entry at a licensed premises in Parap. CCTV Operators continued to monitor the offender’s movements and directed patrols to his hiding location, where they located a 17-year-old male. He will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act 2005.
