The roundabout at the intersection of Arthur Street, Grandis Road and Victoria Road will be closed for up to five months from January 28, 2020 as part of the Reid Highway Dual Carriageway project.

Access for local residents will be maintained at all times, however access for residences on the west side of Arthur Street will be via a temporary turnaround at the northern end of Arthur Street.

Signed detours and traffic management will be in place at all times.

The closure is required to enable the removal and reconstruction of the roundabout to tie in with the new Arthur Street bridge.

The existing underground sewer system will also be relocated and new road drainage and infrastructure installed.

The following map(PDF, 95KB) shows the diversions which will be in place.
