Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie announces the appointment of Mark Hendry to its Risk Advisory business in the UK, as the firm further builds out its integrated risk, legal and delivery offering in the cyber security space.
Mark brings more than 20 years of experience, including seven years working directly within legal practices to shape cybersecurity advice. A recognised voice on the ever-evolving cyber regulatory landscape, he has notably advised on some of the most significant cyber incidents in recent years. Mark also has a deep understanding of designing and delivering programs of uplift and remediation around regulatory advice, supporting regulatory engagement and enforcement response.

Mark’s appointment follows the successful combination of Ashurst with Perkins Coie to form Ashurst Perkins Coie on 29 June. His arrival reflects a significant step in the continued growth of the firm’s Risk Advisory business, which operates across Australia, Asia, the UK, and the Middle East and marks the 10th hire in London since the two firms announced their intent to combine on 17 November 2025. His hire follows that of Luke Houghton (Australia), as well as the launch of its consulting and managed services offering in Asia led by John Knox and Rishi Ballakhan, based in Singapore.
Ashurst Perkins Coie advises clients on both legal and risk issues related to high profile and significant cyber incidents, cyber regulation and governance, post incident investigations and disputes.
