Ashurst Perkins Coie significantly strengthens technology offering with two-partner senior team hire, led by Stéphane Lemarchand and Jeanne Dauzier

Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie announces the appointment of Stéphane Lemarchand and Jeanne Dauzier who join as partners in the Tech Transactions practice, based in Paris, together with their team. These appointments reinforce Ashurst Perkins Coie’s global strategic focus on technology, one of its three areas of sectoral strength, and expand its ability to support clients driving digital transformation, creating a top-tier European tech offering.

These appointments are among the first major strategic hires since the creation of Ashurst Perkins Coie on 29 June, underscoring the new firm’s ambition and ability to attract leading talent.

Stéphane has over 25 years’ experience advising multinational and domestic companies with strategic digital transformation and IT projects, and a broad range of IT litigation matters. He is highly regarded for his deep experience in and understanding of the technology industry. His practice spans strategic digital transformation projects and complex Tech disputes matters. His clients include technology and digital service providers, and large end-user companies across the manufacturing, aviation and consumer goods sectors.

Jeanne advises French and international clients across sectors on AI, strategic IT and digital transformation projects, including EU digital regulations compliance, cloud computing and outsourcing. With more than 15 years’ experience, she combines deep technical knowhow with a strategic perspective to help clients navigate complex intellectual property, technology and data issues through practical, sector-specific solutions. Her recent experience spans AI governance for defence, cybersecurity, automotive, aerospace and medical diagnostics clients, GPAI model compliance with the AI Act Code of Practice, cloud sovereignty and AI deployment strategies. With the EU AI Act now in force and AI governance a board-level priority, Jeanne’s experience is a key market differentiator.

They are also joined by Aurélia Pons (Counsel) to support the Tech disputes practice and three associates, which together with Nicolas Quoy, Ashurst Perkins Coie’s existing Technology partner in Paris and his team, immediately creates a Band 1 European Technology offering.
