Head down to the newly opened playground at Ashwood Avenue in Highett and check out the fab new accessible elements and other exciting features.
The upgrade includes:
- a new accessible ‘Pendulum swing’
- additional accessible path links
- additional plantings and rock boulders
- adventure play elements including large climbing rocks, updated flying fox and a new rope climbing structure
- existing toddler rockers have been relocated, and swings retained with new rubber matting
- new timber seats
- extended tan bark play space.
The upgrade is part of the Playground Improvement Plan and Council’s commitment to upgrading all Bayside’s playgrounds.
