ASQA supports providers impacted by floods

ASQA may be able to provide regulatory support for training providers impacted by the recent floods in south east Queensland and NSW.

Just as we have been supportive of providers during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will also take a flexible approach to regulating providers affected by the floods in Queensland and New South Wales. We understand that these challenges may continue for quite some time and that providers operating across multiple locations and learner cohorts may implement staggered approaches based on a risk assessment of their individual circumstances.

Any changes to our regulatory approach will be carefully considered in consultation with peak bodies and other government agencies.

Guidance available to providers

We have additional guidance available on our website that relates to COVID-19, but this applies also to providers experiencing disruption due to floods:

Discuss your situation

Please reach out to us if your organisation has been impacted by the floods and has impacted your ability to deliver training or maintain your regulatory obligations.

Our Info Line team is standing by to discuss your situation so that we can support you to maintain quality of training and assessment for your students. Call 1300 701 801 from 9am to 7pm (AEDT) Monday to Friday.

We urge everyone to stay safe, with communities still experiencing extreme weather conditions to stay up-to-date with warnings and advice.
