Assault appeal in Capalaba, QLD

Detectives are appealing for assistance to identify a man (pictured) following reports of assaults of three women in a Capalaba shopping centre in late April.

Around 2.45pm on Tuesday April 19, a man approached a woman working in a department store at a Moreton Bay Road complex, and inappropriately touched her from behind.

Police received reports of similar assaults of two other woman within the complex, one located in the carpark and the other in another department store.

The man, who may be able to assist with inquiries, was seen in the complex that day and running along Mount Cotton Road around 4pm.

The man has a dark complexion, is aged in his late twenties, around 180cm tall with a slim build and dark facial hair, including a full beard and moustache. He has a large, prominent nose. He was wearing a black t-shirt with purple shorts, red cap, thongs and a white fingerless glove on his left hand. He also had what appeared to be white headphones around his neck.
