Attempted armed robbery appeal in Calamvale and Logan, QLD

Detectives investigating two possible linked attempted armed robberies in Calamvale and Logan this morning have released images of a vehicle as part of an appeal for public assistance.

Shortly after 6.30am one male has produced a knife and attempted to force their way into a man’s car at the intersection of Chateau Street and Kinedana Street, Calamvale. This male has assaulted the occupant of the vehicle before fleeing in a silver sedan.

The man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

At 7.50am a woman was in a car in North Street, Logan Village when approached by two males and threatened.

The males are described as Caucasian and being aged in their late teens to mid 20’s.

They were seen leaving in a silver sedan.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam vision from the Calamvale and Logan Village area – and around Ingram Road in Sunnybank Hills and Scott Street in North Maclean – to contact police.
