Police have charged a man following investigations into an alleged shooting at Aspley on Tuesday, 25 August.
Around 10.50pm, police attended Centre Street where they located a 24-year-old Aspley man with two gunshot wounds.
He was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
Following investigations, detectives from Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a home on Richards Road, Narangba around 2.32pm yesterday, 28 August.
A 33-year-old Narangba man was arrested at the address and has since been charged with eight offences including one count each of attempted murder, contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, possessing restricted items and obstruct police, and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 29 August.
