Attempted murder charges at Bowen Hills, QLD

Detectives have charged two people with attempted murder after a man was shot at Bowen Hills in July this year.

It is alleged around 2:45pm on July 29, a 40-year-old man was shot through a front security screen door at a Tufton Street unit.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to his hip and pelvis and at the time was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Overnight, a 53-year-old East Brisbane man was charged with attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable, unlawful possession of a weapon and possess thing and two counts of supply a dangerous drug (namely methylamphetamine).

A 31-year-old woman, also from East Brisbane, was charged with attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable, unlawful possession of a weapon and possess thing.

They are both due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today, November 3.
