Dungog Shire Council are calling for Expressions of Interest from 2 community members to join the Australia Day Committee for the 2023 and 2024 Australia Day events.
The objective of this Committee is to assist the Council to deliver a safe and enjoyable community event on Australia Day within the available budget by:
• Providing a forum for discussion to help guide the strategic direction of the event.
• Attend and where appropriate provide assistance with the event
• To actively promote the Australia Day Awards throughout the Shire
• Deciding the winners of the various categories in the Australia Day Awards
• Attend Committee meeting as required
Interested community members are asked to complete the Expression of Interest form available here or from the Administration Office by 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 6 September 2022.
