It’s a prestigious honour to receive an Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM). This award exemplifies our values of safety, teamwork, adaptability, integrity, and respect.
There is now less than three weeks left to nominate as part of the 2022 Australia Day Honours. I encourage you to take the time to recognise the exceptional contribution members of our organisation make in protecting lives and property.
There is no higher honour than receiving an Australian Fire Service Medal – only 40 CFA people have received an AFSM since 2016.
The AFSM is an esteemed award that honours those who may have gone above and beyond in their duties or achieved something remarkable in difficult or unusual circumstances.
This is your chance to nominate someone you feel should be added to the list. There is no limit on the amount of times a member can be nominated so if someone you nominated in the past didn’t receive the award – I encourage you to resubmit your nomination.
