“Thousands of Australians could die unnecessarily from preventable and treatable diseases unless Mr Morrison agrees to the states request for extra $20 billion in Health and Hospital funding”said Dr Robert Marr ,Secreatry General of Australian Doctors Reform Society
“The Covid Pandemic has severely damaged many preventive and treatment services across Australia including services for diabetes,skin cancer and heart disease as a result of diversion of staff and funding to Covid services”said Dr Marr
“I am a GP and I am seeing many patients who havnt had regular preventive health checks including diabetes or skin cancer checks because hospital clinics were closed during the covid pandemic.”said Dr Marr
“The rural and regional areas of Australia have been severely effected during covid resulting in many rural hospitals not having any doctors and relying on over worked nurses to manage as best as they can.”said Dr Robert Marr
“If Mr Morrison does not urgently provide the extra funding that the states have requested he may as well just play his ukelele ,or I will give him a violin, so that he can fiddle while Australias health system burns down”said Dr Marr
