Aveley Community and Public Event Grants now available

The Aveley Community Advisory Group has made community grants available with applicants encouraged to apply for up to $2,000 – or up to $20,000 to support the delivery of signature community events in Aveley.

The Aveley Community Fund is discretionary funding made available annually from the Aveley Community Facilities and Services Reserve Fund (known as the Aveley Community Reserve Account), for local community groups and initiatives. The Aveley Community Fund is managed by the Aveley Community Advisory Group which is made up of representatives from the Aveley community, Stockland Development Pty Ltd and the City of Swan.

Community Grants

The Aveley Community Advisory Group has made community grants available with applicants encouraged to apply for up to $2,000. Applications can be made at any time and will be assessed by the Aveley Community Advisory Group which meets bi-monthly. Applicants should be aware of assessment timelines and read the ‘Assessment Process’ section of these guidelines when planning their project.

Grants of up to $2,000 are available to art, cultural and community groups, sporting clubs and not for profit organisations that operate within Aveley and surrounds.Grants are available for the development of projects, activities or the establishment of a new community group that provide one of the following:

  • Increase the number and variety of recreational, cultural and social opportunities within the Aveley community
  • To positively contribute to the health and well-being of the Aveley community
  • Increased awareness and appreciation of diversity within the community
  • Improved feelings of connectedness and safety within the community.
