The B4 Early Years Coalition (B4) Grants which opened today are aimed at ensuring that every Tasmanian gets the best possible start to life and learning.
Organisations which raise awareness of the importance of early years education will benefit through grants of up to $20,000 to undertake face-to-face storytelling within communities.
By recognising that all communities have a voice in the early years conversation, we can support every child to thrive by developing and distributing useful resources for engaging and encouraging involvement.
We believe engagement in high quality learning sets children up for life, which is why the Government is investing in initiatives such as Working Together which provides opportunities for eligible young Tasmanians to engage with up to 400 hours of free early learning.
We know that a child’s experiences and environments shape their lifelong learning, health and development which is why it’s so important we recognise the significance of these early years.
Over $170,000 is available as part of the program with eligible organisations encouraged to apply for grants up to $20,000 to undertake the project and share their stories.
The B4 Early Years coalition is part of the Government’s commitment to providing quality early learning and development experiences for young children regardless of where they live or family background.
