Join Hawkesbury City Council for the next ‘War on Waste’ workshop ‘Backyard Chickens for Beginners’ on Wednesday, 18 March from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Hawkesbury Central Library, Tebbutt Room, 300 George Street, Windsor.
Learn how to set up, manage and organise your backyard for chickens. The workshop will explain all the benefits of having your own chickens, providing advice and tips for beginners. They are easy and inexpensive to maintain, provide delicious fresh eggs and are a chemical-free way to control bugs and weeds in your garden. They are also friendly pets with personality.
