Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Badgingarra on Sunday 10 September 2023.
About 6:20pm, a white Holden Commodore sedan was being driven south on Brand Highway. At the same time, a white Toyota HiAce van was being driven north on the same road. The two vehicles collided head-on.
The 19-year-old female passenger of the Holden Commodore received critical injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by an RAC Rescue helicopter.
The other three occupants of the two vehicles received minor to serious injuries, and were taken by St John WA to Moora Hospital.
