Two Bairnsdale shoppers are now multi-millionaires after their entries from Bairnsdale Lotto scored division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian players held some of the nine division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4697 on Saturday 25 July 2026. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2,222,222.23.
The winning entries were purchased at Bairnsdale Lotto, 2 Bailey Street, Bairnsdale.
Bairnsdale Lotto owner Anthony Scott said he was left shocked by selling two division one winning entries into the one draw.
“Selling one is fantastic… but we sold two! I can’t believe it,” he said.
“I think customers will be very happy as it’s been about three years since we sold the last one.
“Congratulations to our winners! We wish you many happy years ahead!”
Bairnsdale retiree’s winning hunch pays off
A Bairnsdale woman says a long-held belief that she’d one day win big has finally paid off after scoring a $2.2 million TattsLotto prize.
Speaking to us yesterday, the delighted retiree revealed she struggled to sleep after checking her ticket after the draw on Saturday night.
“I’m very excited,” she laughed.
“I checked it last night before I went to bed, but I didn’t sleep very well.
“I knew the numbers. I thought, ‘No, it can’t be, can’t be!’. It was unbelievable.
“Deep down I knew I was going to win one day.
“As I’m getting older, I was thinking, ‘Will it happen?’. So for it to finally come up is incredible.
“Oh God, I can’t believe it! It’ll probably hit me later.
“My husband and I just keep looking at each other.
“We’ll sit on it for a bit and have a think. It’s obviously going to make retirement a lot easier with everything going on in the world.”
Although the second Bairnsdale TattsLotto winner registered their entry to The Lott Members Club, we haven’t been able to make contact with them to deliver the life-changing news.
