Barossa man charged with procuring child

Today (Friday 6 October), detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section of SAPOL arrested a 57-year-old man from the Barossa for make child amenable to sexual activity and possessing child exploitation material. The man was refused police bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

This man was previously arrested by the Special Crimes Investigation Section on 6 September 2023 as a result of a referral from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team, a joint team between the Australian Federal Police and the South Australia Police. Today’s arrest follows further investigation into this matter.
