Baseball bats used in Geelong West aggravated burglary

Police are investigating after six offenders armed with steel baseball bats forced their way into a home in Geelong West this morning.

The aggravated burglary occurred at a house in Gertrude Street about 3.35am, 12 March.

The male offenders smashed windows and forced entry into the home before making demands for valuables and assaulting the three occupants of the house.

They stole several items before leaving the scene in what was described as a small white hatchback.

Two male victims, aged 28 and 19, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An 18-year-old female victim was assessed by paramedics on scene.

The offenders were all male and perceived to be of African appearance, in their late teens or early twenties.
