Residents may have seen media reports of an unregistered beautician in the City of Greater Dandenong putting the health of their clients at risk. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has released a statement on their website regarding the investigation.
Bayside City Council Environmental Health Officers inspect and register beauty businesses annually and issue a Certificate of Registration. Bayside is not aware of any unregistered beauty therapists operating in Bayside and follows up on any complaints immediately.
