Book Club Kits, available from Bayside libraries, make it easier for anyone wanting to start a book club where people can connect, read and share stories together.
Each Book Club Kit contains up to 12 copies of the same book and can be borrowed for an extended six-week loan period, with the option to renew once.
The kits, which are already proving popular, can be reserved at any Bayside library.
They can only be borrowed by a library member using their library card and the member will be responsible for all the borrowed items.
The initiative makes it easy for residents to start and grow their own book clubs, while encouraging social connection and increasing access to library resources.
There are approximately 60 kits available and Bayside’s friendly librarians will be able to help anyone wanting to start a local book club.
