Be part of NRL history and grab an ultimate fan experience

South Sydney will play one of its allocated “home” games on the Sunshine Coast in each of the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons, starting with a clash against the NZ Warriors in round five.

Tourism, Sport and Major Events Portfolio Councillor Jason O’Pray said council was excited to host their first NRL fixture home game which offers premiership points to be played at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

“This historic clash comes after the region proved its credentials as a host for elite rugby league by staging a sequence of well-attended pre-season matches,” Cr O’Pray said.

“If you are a business owner or just an avid NRL fan, the Rabbitohs have announced some really unique corporate hospitality packages at a unique off-site pre-game function at Venue 114.

“This VIP hospitality event includes a three hour food and beverage package, entertainment including a Q & A with Rabbitohs legends including Roy Asotasi who was regarded as the best prop forward in the world and captained the Rabbitohs during his seven seasons with the club. Combine this unique experience with a premium reserved ticket seating, a shuttle bus to the stadium, a beverage package until full-time and footy food available at half-time at the Stadium.

“Alternatively, for those corporates who want to immerse themselves in the electric atmosphere of a Rabbitohs home crowd by placing themselves right in the heart of all the action, an outdoor box gives them the best of both worlds.

“An outdoor box ensures fans don’t miss a thing on game day and feel part of the action with the sounds of each tackle heard loud and clear. Combine this with your own dedicated wait staff serving a cocktail style menu and drinks package with VIP entry and NRL fans will be in footy heaven.

“These are just some of the attractive packages available in addition to the general admission tickets and stadium seating.”
