Calling all beach loving Baysiders! Keep an eye out for your new three year beach parking permits delivered inside this year’s rates notice.
Two beach parking permits are provided to every property in Bayside every three years – allowing free parking at any one of Bayside’s picture perfect beach locations.
They often get overlooked inside the rates notice envelope so please keep your eyes peeled so they don’t get missed. Rates notices will soon will be winging their way across our muncipality.
If you don’t receive a paper rates notice
If you receive your rates notice via email, you will need to request your beach parking permit online.
If you receive your rates notice via BPayView – we will send you your permits in the email in the coming weeks.
If you are renting in Bayside, you are still entitled to two beach parking permits but you will also need to request them online.
Additional permits
Additional parking permits can be purchased for $216 (pro rata to the date of purchase) upon supplying vehicle registration notices proving the number of vehicles garaged at the property.
Placement of permits
Previous beach parking permits expire on 30 October 2020 so please replace your beach parking permits before then to avoid a fine.
To be valid, the parking permit must be displayed inside the vehicle on the bottom corner of the passenger side of the front windscreen.
As expiration for the old permits approach, our local laws officers will be tucking friendly reminders under the windscreen wipers of any cars spotted yet to switch so you can enjoy three years of hassle free foreshore parking.
