Beenleigh locks in big screen blockbusters

It’s one of the hottest movie tickets in town – and it’s FREE.

An exciting program of family-friendly films has been locked in for the big screen at Beenleigh Town Square on selected Friday and Saturday nights over the next four months.

And some Hollywood heavyweights are set to entertain the City of Logan.

Movies include Pokémon Detective Pikachu, Peter Rabbit, Spider-Man and one instalment from the Harry Potter collection.

Anna, Elsa and the gang return for Frozen II while classic movie buffs will be treated with a horror movie night featuring the 1941 version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, starring Spencer Tracy and Ingrid Bergman.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chair or picnic blanket and enjoy the entertainment under the stars.

Hospitality students from Beenleigh State High School will be selling hot food and drinks but BYO food is permitted. No alcohol is permitted.

  • Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1941) (Thursday, June 4, 7pm)
  • Frozen II (Saturday, June 27, 5.30pm)
