Bendigo Visitor Centre has won a Travellers’ Choice award from Tripadvisor, placing it in the top rated 10 per cent of attractions worldwide.
Bendigo Visitor Centre is owned and operated by the City of Greater Bendigo and has won several Victorian Tourism awards for high quality visitor services.
The centre is currently rated third out of 61 things to do in Bendigo, with an overall 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor.
Visitor Services Manager Jemma Docherty said the Bendigo Visitor Centre provided a consistently high level of services to visitors.
“We have a great team of dedicated professionals and volunteers, who staff the centre seven days a week, every day except Christmas Day,” Ms Docherty said.
“We offer booking services for tours, accommodation and experiences and provide great advice for any visitor wanting to experience the best of Greater Bendigo.
“We are continually upskilling our volunteers, so we are providing the best possible experiences.
“We have also recently stepped up our retail offering with new suppliers and a City of Gastronomy section. The Living Arts Space has also grown in popularity with new artists and a refreshed gallery space.
“It’s wonderful for our staff and volunteers to be recognised in this way.”
