We issued a heartfelt thank you to Kingston’s wonderful volunteers this week.
The annual celebration is an opportunity to acknowledge their hard work, dedication and passion for bettering our community.
We have more than 100 volunteer organisations and committees across the municipality and more than 22,000 individuals generously giving their time and expertise.
Volunteers, from students to retirees, enjoyed an evening of food and entertainment at Kingston City Hall and received a certificate of appreciation.
Their work covers roles such as looking after the environment, keeping our sports clubs thriving, delivering library services, assisting the Arts Centre, teaching and supporting others and so much more.
All of those generously given hours help us deliver our services right across Kingston.
There are many volunteer opportunities to suit different types of experience, skills and commitment.
