Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near Bluewater Drive at Bluewater. Crews are currently backburning near Bluewater Drive to contain the fire. There is no threat to properties at this time. Smoke may affect nearby areas, including the Bruce Highway throughout the afternoon. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If affected, residents should close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep their medications close by. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
