BMW stolen during burglary in Bulleen

Police are appealing for public assistance after a BMW was stolen during a burglary in Bulleen last month.

It is believed unknown offenders forced entry via the front door of a house on Maringa Street sometime between 2pm and 6pm on Wednesday 3 July.

Offenders located car keys inside the house and stole a 2018 black BMW X3 registration 1MA 1OJ.

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and have released images of the stolen vehicle and also an image of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is believed to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late teens to early 20s and wears hi-vis tops.

Investigators believe the stolen vehicle was also used in burglaries at Doncaster East, Ashburton, East Bentleigh and a number of petrol thefts.
