Body of man located in Kurnell

The body of a man missing in Kurnell after being swept off rocks yesterday has been found.

About 10.20am today (Saturday 18 April 2020), Police Marine Area Command, assisted by Surf Rescue, Marine Rescue and Pol Air, located the body of a 67-year-old man on the rocks at Potter Point.

He is the second man to die in the incident, after emergency services responded to reports that two rock-fishermen were in difficulty after falling into the water just after 12.30pm yesterday (Friday 17 April 2020).

Another man, also aged 67, was located and retrieved from the water on Friday, but died at the scene at 1.35pm.
