A body, believed to be that of a woman reported missing this week, has been located.
On Wednesday (1 May 2024), officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District commenced inquiries into the whereabouts of a 63-year-old woman reported missing from the Lake Macquarie area.
About 12pm today (Friday 3 May 2024), the body of a woman was located near a waterway at Glenrock nature reserve at Kahibah.
Whilst the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing woman.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
