Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred about 5.55pm yesterday, Friday 2 August 2019, in Boondarie (South Hedland).
A 26-year-old woman was driving a white Great Wall station sedan in a south easterly direction along Quartz Road when she lost control of the vehicle near where Quartz Road becomes Greenfields Street.
The vehicle left the road and rolled several times. A passing motorist stopped and assisted the woman but she died at the scene as a result of injuries received in the crash.
