Bottle shop robbery at Edwardstown, South Australia

Police are at the scene of a bottle shop robbery at Edwardstown where a man has stolen alcohol and cigarettes.

Just before 11am on Friday 31 January, Southern District patrols were called to a hotel on South Road at Edwardstown after a man entered the premises armed with a knife, threatened the staff member and stole two bottles of bourbon, two packets of cigarettes and two bottles of coke. He packed the items in a brown box and was last seen walking north on South Road.

The staff member was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, aged in his early 30s, approximately 183cm tall and with a slim build. He was wearing a button up black short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, thongs and blue sunglasses. He had tattoos on his right forearm.

A search of the areas failed to locate the suspects and investigations are continuing.
