Kalgoorlie Detectives have charged a man as a result of their investigation into a fire at a Boulder residence yesterday, 6 June 2019.
About 9am, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a fire at the home unit located on Moran Street.
The fire destroyed the interior of the unit and the damage cost is estimated at $300,000.
Arson Squad investigators attended and determined the cause of the fire was suspicious.
A 22-year-old man from Boulder has been charged with Criminal Damage by Fire and is next due to appear in the Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court on 4 July 2019.
