Police have charged a 13-year-old boy following a wilful damage incident at Flying Fish Point near Innisfail on 30 August.
It will be alleged around 11.30pm, the 13-year-old boy entered a Maud Street educational facility and caused major damage to educational infrastructure and equipment including damaging around 20 classroom windows.
The boy was located nearby and arrested a short time later.
A 13-year-old Currajah boy has been charged with one count each of wilful damage, trespassing, obstruct police officer, and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
He is due to appear before Innisfail Childrens Court today, 31 August.
