Major Crash Investigation Section officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Boyanup last night, Wednesday 30 August 2023.
About 7:20pm a white Ford Falcon utility was being driven south on South Western Highway in Boyanup. At the same time, a Kenworth truck towing a trailer was being driven north on the same road.
It appears the Ford utility and the trailer being towed by the truck came into contact with each other on a bend in the road, causing significant damage to the Ford.
Tragically, the 48-year-old male driver of the Ford utility died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
