Boys Charged With Property Crime Offences at Dakabin, QLD

Detectives have charged three boys and investigations are ongoing into a series of burglary offences at Dakabin on Monday morning, 10 August.

Police attended Raffindale Avenue shortly after 3am following reports that a group of young people were attempting to gain entry to homes and vehicles along the street.

The offenders fled upon police arrival, with four teenage boys located by police a short time later.

Three of the boys have now been charged with a total of 32 charges with further arrests likely.

A 15-year-old Bray Park boy and a 15-year-old Kallangur boy have each been charged with three counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and two counts each of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, attempted enter dwelling with intent at night in company and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.

The Bray Park boy is due to reappear in Pine Rivers Children’s Court on 17 August.

The Kallangur boy is due to reappear in Pine Rivers Children’s Court on 21 September.

A 14-year-old Mango Hill boy has been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and two counts each of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, attempted enter dwelling with intent at night in company and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.

He is due to appear in Pine Rivers Children’s Court on 17 August.
