The City of Swan celebrated the official opening of Brabham Oval and Pavilion on Friday, November 19, with a jam-packed community event.
Residents were able to view their new state-of-the-art sporting facilities, sports pavilion and play space, while enjoying free entertainment, a variety of food trucks, an interactive animal nursery, face-painting, a bouncy castle, community market stalls and a movie screening under the stars.
City of Swan Mayor David Lucas said providing our young community with vibrant and accessible sporting facilities was a top priority.
Brabham is a key population growth area for the City and this space will serve local community sports and the neighbouring school for years to come.
