Break and enter charges at Bulimba, QLD

Detectives have charged two males in relation to a break and enter at Bulimba yesterday.

Around 2pm a stolen white Honda HRV has parked on Wordsworth Street and it is alleged three males exited the vehicle and entered a property.

The house owner who was not at home at the time, was alerted by his home security cameras that someone was in the house and he called police.

On police arrival, one of the males ran from police and fled the scene in the Honda HRV with a female passenger.

Two teenage boys ran from the house shortly afterwards and with the assistance of members of the public, police arrested them nearby.

A 16-year-old Everton Park boy has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter dwelling and commit an indicatable offence.

A 15-year-old Nundah boy has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter dwelling and commit an indicatable offence. He has also been charged with three counts of stealing.

Both will appear before Brisbane Childrens Court.

Detectives are appealing for the male driving the car or his female passenger to contact police.

The Honda HR-V with Queensland Registration 165XMW was stolen from a residence on Mount O’Reilly Road at Samford Valley on July 4. The vehicle was located abandoned on Telegraph Road at Bracken Ridge around 9.15pm on July 6, after it crashed through a fence.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam vision or further information to contact them.
